About the area
Situated on the stunning World Heritage Coast in Dorset, Wears Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally situated to explore and discover this wonderful coastline. Nestled in the hills of the Abbotsbury Estate the views are spectacular, especially from the nearby South West Coast Path. The historic village of Abbotsbury is a short drive away and features three of the most popular tourist attractions in Dorset: Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens, Abbotsbury Swannery and The Children’s Farm and Tithe Barn. Local amenities include a village shop, two pubs and plenty of tea rooms, restaurants and shops.
Close by are the towns of Bridport (9 miles), Dorchester (12 miles) and Weymouth and Portland (13 miles), the latter being the host to the sailing events for the 2012 Olympics.
Sympathetically converted from traditional farm buildings in 2009, the holiday cottages provide spacious and comfortable accommodation fitted out to the highest standards.
